1-on-1 GYROTONIC® Session (55 minutes)

1-on-1 GYROTONIC® session with Alexandra Berger. Each private session lasts 55 minutes and includes individualized exercises and instruction on the Ultima XS pulley tower using GYROTONIC Expansion System® techniques.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Cancellations may be made up to 48 hours before an appointment for a full refund. Cancellation or rescheduling up to 24 hours before an appointment will be offered credit for a future session within 30 days of the original appointment.

Refunds and credit are not available for cancellations less than 12 hours before an appointment and payment in full will be expected, due to the time and cost of preparing for each individual session.

IN PERSON - GYROKINESIS® at The Mark Morris Dance Center

A fluid non-weight-bearing yoga for the spine, GYROKINESIS® focuses on opening up the joints and muscles from the inside outward through movement. With a focus towards mindful embodiment, this class encourages participants to deepen their relationship with their physical selves.

Starting seated, the class warms up with gentle spinal motions in all directions, utilizing an active breath to slowly deepen the action. Adding in the legs and ultimately making our way to standing, this class gets in touch with every part of the body with a focus on expansion through strength in the core.

GYROKINESIS®, as the non-machine format of the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®, is gentle enough for a non-mover, yet can work deep enough for a very active individual, providing an excellent form of cross-training for any athlete. A person who adds GYROKINESIS® into their regular routine will find more ease of movement in their daily life.

ALL-IN Mondays GYROKINESIS® (January) - In Partnership with The Mark Morris Dance Center

This option is for students who want to commit to all four Monday classes in January [1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26], with the choice to attend in-person or on Zoom. See how consistent practice brings a new level of awareness and embodiment to your daily life!

If you plan to practice from home, all you need is a chair with a level seat and room to stretch your arms out fully.
